Takara Bio's innovative proprietary method
for DNA amplification (Isothermal and Chimeric primer-initiated
Amplification of Nucleic Acids) can offer an alternative to
PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) ICAN method allows to amplify
DNA, present in extremely small amounts with equivalent or
superior efficiency than that of PCR.
Since the ICAN reaction can be easily scaled up, mass-production
of DNA fragments for rapid microarray production is made possible.
ICAN can also be applied to gene analysis dependent diagnostics,
for example bacterial or viral infections previously carried
out using PCR. |
