To support our European customers we are seeking to recruit a service-minded molecular/cell biologist.

Job description:

• Provide expert knowledge of products and applications for an assigned product area
• Provide high quality application and technical support pre- and post sales to our customers, territory managers and distributors
• Facilitate information flow between our international sites (WW marketing, support and R&D) and European customers, territory managers and distributors
• Perform competitive analyses and prepare product comparisons
• Conduct product and application training
• Technical writing for web content and marketing collaterals
• Provide input for product development
• Perform seminars, field visits with sales reps and application help at customer site if required
  

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or M.Sc. degree in Molecular or Cell Biology with extensive experience of laboratory work within the field
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and German, French an advantage
• Dedication to give good support to our internal and external customers
• Excellent presentation skills
• Service-minded and interested in business and marketing
• Good computer knowledge and familiarity with common office programs
• Ability to travel up to 25% of time
